Xiang Yun Temple Attends the iACT Central Texas Interfaith Alliance Thanksgiving Fellowship Dinner

On the evening of December 9, Venerables Jueji, Yisong, and Ruyuan of Xiang Yun Temple led more than twenty BLIA members, the Lucky Dharma Band, and the Xiang Yun Community Choir to Coswell House to attend a "Thanksgiving Fellowship Dinner," held to express gratitude to donors who had supported the Interfaith Action of Central Texas (iACT) throughout the year.

The venue was decorated with a festive atmosphere. Christmas trees, colorful lights, and floral arrangements created a warm and welcoming setting, and the organizers prepared a generous selection of refreshments and beverages. The gentle harmonies of the Lucky Dharma Band greeted guests upon arrival, creating a joyful feeling reminiscent of a family reunion.

The Xiang Yun Community Choir was invited to perform for the first time. Under the direction and piano accompaniment of Richard Frazier, the choir presented *Shenandoah*, *Arirang*, *Sleigh Ride*, and *Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas*. Their melodious singing received enthusiastic applause. Richard also introduced the background of the songs and the choir to the audience and invited those who enjoy singing to join. The evening concluded with everyone singing Silent Night together, bringing the atmosphere to its peak.

iACT Executive Director Simone Flowers expressed her gratitude for the support received over the past year. She noted that although grant funding had once been frozen due to policy changes, the organization was still able to carry out its work smoothly thanks to the collective support of the community. The evening came to a warm and grateful conclusion.
