iACT “A Night Under One Sky” — Interfaith Unity Night

On Monday, October 27, 2025, the Interfaith Action of Central Texas (iACT) hosted its annual celebration and fundraising event, “A Night Under One Sky,” in Austin. Six representatives from Xiangyun Temple and the Buddha’s Light International Association of Austin attended the event, which aimed to promote understanding, compassion, and a spirit of service among different faiths, while showcasing the unity and diversity of Austin’s multicultural community.

The evening began at 5:30 p.m. with a Thai-style dinner, where guests enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere and warm conversations. From 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., the chapel was filled with vibrant performances and fundraising activities, including a duo African drum performance, a five-piece band, a female vocalist with guitar accompaniment, a Madagascar ensemble, and a five-member American choir. The interwoven melodies and rhythms beautifully reflected the harmonious resonance among different cultures, religions, and ethnic groups.

The event concluded in an atmosphere of gratitude and enthusiasm, as participants shared in the spirit of love and hope, embodying the vision of interfaith communities working hand in hand to create a more harmonious and compassionate society.
