North America Fellowship Meeting Concludes – Fo Guang Members Visit Xiang Yun Temple

The three-day North America Fellowship Meeting successfully concluded on April 20 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Austin. On the final day, nearly 450 participants visited Xiang Yun Temple and shared a monastic vegetarian lunch. That day, the Youth Group warmly welcomed guests with a martial arts performance. Venerable Yongjia personally led the worship ceremony, and Venerable Jueji, the temple’s supervisor, gave a welcome speech, offering heartfelt greetings.

Xiang Yun Temple thoughtfully prepared the vegetarian meal, and both monastics and lay practitioners personally received the guests, earning high praise. Many visitors felt the youthful energy and efficient use of space at the temple, which exuded friendliness and warmth throughout. Bathed in spring sunshine, guests strolled through the Dripping Water Pavilion, dining hall, and garden, appreciating the solemnity and tranquility of the temple grounds.

The day also included visits to the Texas State Capitol and the OASIS sunset-view restaurant. Everyone enjoyed the sunset together and took group photos, bringing a warm and memorable close to the three-day event.
